Abundance
In today’s world, a lot of people desire to make a lot of money to buy a lot of things. Most of us aspire to be wealthy.
So, what is real wealth?
Wealth is often defined by how much money people have or how many things people own. My favorite definition is, “wealth is what you have when you have nothing left at all.”
Real wealth lies within, and isn’t defined by what one has on the outside. To experience real wealth is to experience and live in the ABUNDANCE of all that is.
ABUNDANCE, by definition, is the infinite nature of supply, the creative energy of God, the substance of all things good. To experience abundance is to be aware, to understand, and to know that at our core we are enough, and worthy of all that is. Abundance is our natural state of being, and we all can choose to experience the abundance in every moment and in every breath of our lives.
So, how does one get in touch with their own abundance?
A first step towards abundance is to move away from thinking that money is the Supply of our wealth. Most individuals believe that money is the source of their inner and outer supply, and thus the cause of their prosperity. This thinking is inaccurate. Money is merely an effect, not a cause. The true Supply of our prosperity, both inner and outer, is the awareness, consciousness, and experience of the abundance, as defined above.
After realizing the Supply of all things good is not external, a second step would be to build a strong, closer connection to the Source of all things good. To connect more fully to the Source, one might commit to a daily meditation or prayer that focuses on feeling the loving energy field that exists at our core. This energy field is the feeling nature of abundance and exists beyond the mind in the heart and spirit of who we are. There are no words for this place inside; rather it is a feeling of aliveness and fullness that one experiences.
Once connected to this sacred, abundant place within, one can now take action out into the physical world. By taking action from a place of abundance, one might start to have experiences that demonstrate, or validate, the abundance that is all around. With enough patience and practice, abundance no longer will be something that one has to strive for, but rather will be present in every experience each moment has to offer.
